Theresa,
my mom loved you unconditionally as do I. It was a privilege to have you as a part of our lives and spend time with you at girls camp. You were always cheerful and had a smile on your face to share with everyone. Thank you for being part of our family! Love you lots Theresa!

Dee,
My mom absolutely loved having you and your family in her home. Quilts are a huge part of her legacy. I am so grateful you have one and it is back in your possession. My mom loved you very much and was so grateful for the friendship you and I share. I love you

Helen was a wonderful lady who knew I was struggling with family when Bret was a missionary in Scotland. She wrote and shared her testimony and from that time she held a very special place in my heart. Even though miles separated us I felt close to her. About forty years ago she made a cabbage patch doll for Amanda and she loved it, as did her daughter Jodi in later years. That doll now waits to bring joy for when Jodi and Jonathon have children. She also gave me a Christmas fairy and every year for almost forty years that Christmas fairy sits in my home bringing memories of her. My thoughts are with all her family and I know she will be greatly missed - I send you all my love, hugs and sorrow at your loss. Bernadetta xxxxx

I was sad to learn that Helen had passed. She was such a loving person. Helen was one of my earliest baby sitters. She showed me that girls could do anything. I watched her fix bicycles and swamp coolers as a little girl. She taught me to crochet and do embroidery work. I still enjoy those skills today. Vann and I remember the trips to the farm followed up with our moms canning, camping trips, and homemade Halloween costumes. The clothes Helen made for me and Shelley, dressing us as twins. Thank you for our childhood and many fond memories. Sincerely, Monica and Vann Sutton

What a beautiful funeral Lloyd. You should be so proud of your children and the love they have for their mom and for you. I send my love to you as you endure the future without your sweetheart by your side. One of my favorite Christmas gifts Helen made for us is the icicle ornaments and I remember you and Helen every time I see them. How grateful I am to have the teachings of eternal families to help us look heavenward and move forward. May you feel of His peace.

I had the good fortune of knowing Helen as the mother of my good friend Shelly. Shelly and I met as young mothers and formed a special bond. I admired Helen for all of the things that she did that I couldn't, and still can't! Not the least of which was sewing and quilting. Many years ago, Shelly and her sweet mom, helped me create a quilt for my family. Due to some unfortunate life circumstances, I did not have possession of that quilt for about 23 years but it unexpectedly came back to me a few days ago. I don't know what that means but I know that quilt is more special to me than ever before. My love goes out to Helens family. She was an amazing woman and I know she will be missed!
