I worked with Lyle for 8 years and never met anyone I enjoyed being around more than him. He lit up a room & made people laugh! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. Loved his talent as a teacher & barber he truly was the best! My dear friend Suzette my prayers are with you. I love you both more than you can possibly know. May you know how much he will be missed by all who knew him well. Always here for you. Tell his sweet daughter how sorry we are for the loss of her wonderful dad.

I had the privilege of knowing Lyle while going through cosmetology. He was and still is my idol, the way he could turn a bad day in the class to one filled with laughter and joy was the best. I will never forget when I messed up on my male mannequin and accidentally gave him a mullet Lyle laughed and told me that we all need a little mullet action from time to time. My sincerest condolences to the family. Thank you for sharing that amazing man with the world of cosmetology students, you will be missed deeply.

So sorry to Suzzette and family for their loss. He was one of my favorites when I was doing cosmetology classes, always made me laugh, always checking up on me when he would see me even after I had finished those classes. He will be very missed. Hugs and Prayers to his family for their loss.

My deepest condolences to Lyle’s family and friends. I had the privilege of getting to know Lyle when he was my teacher in cosmetology school. He always made school so much fun and always had a joke to tell. He was such a nice guy . He will be dearly missed by so many students that had the honor of being taught by him . I’m so sorry to hear that Lyle has died. I knew him best over 30 years ago when we coached my sons baseball team together. Or should I say he coached and I learned alot. He was a very special man, was so good with the boys teaching them both baseball and setting life time examples. The obituary was beautiful and I was so happy to hear about his life. Seems so young to be gone but sounds like a very full life. With love and respect. Chris

Sadly, I can’t post everything I have to say about Lyle. There is a lot to be said, but not only was he the greatest barber that ever lived, but also the greatest teacher. He is unforgettable and I’m going to miss him very much.

What a friend, what a fighter. I played so many rounds of golf with Lyle. When he wasn’t feeling his best he would say, “tell me if I’m not standing up straight”. Once when we were playing, we were near the end of the round and he pulled something. He was obviously in pain. I suggested he sit out the remaining holes. He said “do you think I’m going to let this stop me?” That is the Lyle I know. Weekend games will never be the same. Rest in peace and comfort Lyle. No one deserves it more.

Lyle was the first teacher who made me love cutting hair. His passion for the industry was infectious. He will be missed by so many.
